Hello WFPA members and food enthusiasts!

It is time for WFPA to partake in the election season. If you are interested in being more involved with the food policy group, we’d like to hear from you. We’ve been busy this semester and are eagerly looking forward to the possibilities of next year.

  • IPSA Spring Conference on Food Security: organized the nutrition panel to bring in Ellen Gustafson of The FEED Project
  • Brown bag discussions with Rogan Kersh and Marion Nestle (April 7th)

To apply, please go to the link below to answer the following questions by APRIL 1st:

Last thoughts…

If you have any questions on how being a sub-group works with the WPA and the Wagner Student Association, please don’t hesitate emailing me at sne203@nyu.edu. Personally, being the first sub-group of the WSA, I think we are in a very exciting position for helping any future streamlining or improvement of student organization. It is definitely not a negative stance my friends!

I’d also like to mention some exciting events that have been murmured about for next year. These include a Local Top Chef Competition in which chefs compete to create dishes with foods from within a 200 miles radius, a Soup Tasting and Conversation event in which soups are donated, people mingle and thoughts are shared at communal tables, and a possible relationship with Jimmy’s No. 43.

Needless to say, there are a lot of exciting possibilities to pursue!
