Last Note of the Summer

September 1, 2010
by

Hello again everyone!

I hope the last few weeks of summer are moving pleasantly by for you. If not, hopefully this holiday weekend will help! I wanted to touch in to let you all know that the WFPA board has decided to reorganize some of the means in which we communicate and share in dialogue with you all. The most important change is that we are phasing out our Google Discussion Forum in order to have a more organized means of communication. Instead of the forum, we encourage everyone to post comments and information about upcoming events/topics to NEW AND IMPROVED WFPA Facebook page (for those of you who know the difference, we are now a “page” and not a “group”).

This blog will also provide a space for comments and your voice. If you have a particular message you’d like to get out to the group and think it should be posted on the blog, please please draft something and send it our way! Your opinions and varying angles of insight are invaluable to the community and conversations we hope to create. Regular bloggers are always welcome and strongly encouraged. We’ll be asking soon for volunteers.

We’d also like to let it be known that all the addresses from the original Google Group have been incorporated into the WFPA Listserve. Please make sure messages from “wagnerfpa@gmail.com” are not sent to your spam! If you would like to be removed from the listserve for any reason, let us know by emailing with “Please Unsubscribe” in the subject heading.

To recap:

Thanks and good luck with the start of the semester!
